About the Staff



Amanda started her career in he dental field nine years ago, she has been with Dr. Carr for four years. She loves coming to work and knowing she is part of a family. She loves helping patients get the best understanding for their orthodontic treatment and their financial options.

Amanda is the insurance and treatment coordinator for Dr. Carr.

When she's not working she is spending time with her family.



Kathy has twenty-four years of orthodontic experience, and twenty of those years have been spent with Dr. Carr.

Kathy's main job is doing the patient's records, including x-rays, photos and impressions. She also assists Dr. Carr with patient care, including monthly adjustments and the removal of braces.

Kathy says, "I don't think of this as a job. I love learning about our patients as I guide them through their records appointment. I find it so rewarding when, after their treatment, they see their new smile for the first time."

Adds Kathy, "I love being a part of the family here at Dr. Carr's office. We are a team devoted to our patients and the quality of their care, and I think it shows."

When she is not at the office, she tries to spend as much time as she can with her children and grandchildren. She loves to travel with her husband and has been known to, on occasion, curl up with a good book.



Kay has been the receptionist for 17 years. She has seen plenty of beautiful smiles come into the office. Patient's love knowing that she will be the one to greet them and make them feel welcome.

Kay answers the phone, makes and changes appointments and performs other office duties.

She says " I love my job and getting to know the patients and helping them understand orthodontics. I enjoy my co-workers and just adore Dr. Carr. We are an extended family and work very well as a team."



Leslie has 23 years of experience, 19 years of which have been spent with Dr. Carr.

She assists Dr. Carr in all aspects of orthodontic and patient care.

Leslie says" I love coming to work daily, not just as a co-worker, but knowing you are part of a family." The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the changes in our patients, not only in their beautiful smiles, but also the confidence it brings to them.

In her spare time, Leslie loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.


Before coming to work for Dr. Carr, Whitney has worked in the medical field for nine years. She enjoys the staff and job although she is still learning the ins and outs of it.

Whitney answers the phone, does insurance, and checks patients in and out. “I love working with people and helping them as best I can. I enjoy the staff in Dr. Carr’s Office.”

When not working, Whitney has a 4 year old boy and a baby girl that she loves spending time with. “We bake, swim, play games and spend time outdoors as much as possible.”


Alyssa has four years of orthodontic experience and two years has been with Dr. Carr.

Her main job is taking patients records and also assisting Dr. Carr with other monthly appointments.

Alyssa says "What I love about my job is getting to grow with the patients and build a bond with them over the years, but also seeing the change in their self esteem. That's the most rewarding part of it all!"

While she's not at work, Alyssa stays busy with her 2 year old son or at the gym. She loves being outdoors.
